Consultancy, admission to Day Hospital or admission to Hospital are offered by Prof. Gaetano Idéo and his Equipe for subjects who desire to check the condition of their liver or for patients affected by various liver diseases who want a precise diagnosis and advice for therapy.

Consultancy is reserved for people whose liver illnesses have already been diagnosed and need a second opinion and/or therapeutic advice. In this case the patient may need to bring medical records, x-rays, results from laboratory tests, pathology slides or other materials.

Day Hospital is suitable for the majority of patients affected by any types of liver diseases. In 1-3 days all the tests needed will be performed and conclusion will be drawn.

Hospital admission ( c/o San Giuseppe Hospital, for Italian patients conventioned with National Health System , via S. Vittore 12, 20123 , Milano or c/o Columbus Clinic via Buonarrotti 48, 20145 Milano), reserved for serious patients with advanced liver diseases or for subjects who need invasive therapy.
